What this site is

LoseBellyPlan.com is a free, complete belly-fat program built around one honest sentence most fitness sites avoid: you cannot choose where fat leaves your body. We maintain 33 home exercises with real photographs and form cues, 7- and 30-day challenges, a calorie calculator that does the part ab workouts can't, and 14 long-form guides written evidence-first.

The site is independent, sells no supplements, gadgets, waist trainers or coaching, and is supported by advertising. Everything here is free to follow completely.

Where the numbers come from

  • The calorie calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for resting metabolism β€” the formula with the best validation record in clinical comparisons β€” with standard activity multipliers, and states its deficit assumptions (300–500 kcal, ~7,700 kcal per kg of fat) on the page.
  • Exercise selection favors movements with sensible biomechanics and honest labels: core strengtheners are labeled as muscle-builders, calorie-burners as calorie-burners, and nothing is labeled a "belly-fat burner" because no exercise is.
  • Guide claims track the mainstream of exercise and nutrition science: protein around 1.6–2 g/kg in a deficit, spot reduction rejected per the controlled-trial record, sleep and stress treated as real variables with modest effect sizes.

The claims we refuse to make

  • No spot-reduction promises β€” crunches build muscle under the fat; the fat itself only responds to a whole-body deficit.
  • No "flat belly in 7 days" timelines β€” real recomposition is measured in months, and our challenges say so on day one.
  • No supplement, tea, waist-trainer or gadget endorsements β€” the evidence isn't there, so neither are we.
  • No medical advice β€” pain, diastasis recti concerns, or health conditions belong with a professional, and our pages say so.
